Former WhatsApp developers have created their own social network. The application is called HalloApp, and its concept is very similar to a standard messenger with a binding to a phone number. He is the only thing that is required to register in HalloApp, and you can add as friends here only users whose numbers are in the list of your contacts.
By design, this approach will allow people to communicate only with friends and family in individual and group chats, as well as see extremely interesting content. Developers believe that this is a sane concept in the age of social media, which inundates users with a bunch of unnecessary and useless information.
In total, HalloApp has four sections: a feed with friends’ messages, group and private chats, and a menu with settings. The application has the most simple design without embedded ads – the creators plan to monetize their product in other ways.
They also promise no user tracking and end-to-end encryption of all messages. Considering that many messengers have privacy issues, this looks like a serious claim to success.
The app was developed by former COO Neeraj Arora and Michael Donahue, former CTO of WhatsApp. They left the company in 2018 and 2019, respectively. At the moment, the social network is completely free and available on both iOS and Android . In the near future, it is planned to add the ability to issue a premium subscription to access various additional functions.Download and enjoy free, please recommend this website to your friends!
